A terrific partnership effort by and between many, many folks is determined to continue and elevate the downtown flower basket program started long ago by Supervisor Robin Williamson. With an eye toward the horticultural arts, today’s vision is inspired by the Carson City Cultural Commission and has set in motion today’s program. Like the baskets that adorn the grounds of the Summit Sierra Mall in southwest Reno, new baskets, brackets, sponsored-by signs accommodate new plant varieties and color themes that will deliver a similar lush look to Carson City’s downtown and all-over-town buildings – for any business, citizen or group who would like to bloom where they are planted!
